Art Usage FAQ All art on this website, unless otherwise specified, was drawn by and is copyrighted to me, Kathy100 / Kathy. This is not a clipart gallery!. Please do not steal / use my art in any way besides the ways I say are ok below! THE ART GALLERY SECTIONS: "Commissions" & "Gifts Out" ARE SPECIAL! The pictures in these sections may ONLY be used as in the first two questions (marked with a * ). Otherwise they MAY NOT BE USED IN ANY WAY!! The rest of the FAQs refer to the art in the other sections.

*May I set your picture as my desktop background / wallpaper? Of course! I'm honored you would want to! I have no problems with this. Distributing this desktop wallpaper to other people is a little different, though. Please see the last question for that.

*Is it okay to print out your pictures and stick them on a binder, or on a wall, etc. Again, I'm honored you'd like my pictures enough to want to! I'm fine with people printing out my pictures for their personal enjoyment. (This does not apply if you wish to redistribute the picture, though. Like on flyers, in school projects, etc. For that, please ask me first.) All art on this site IS resized to lower quality and resolution, and the colors are not corrected for printing. So be aware that printing will probably result in low quality. Please visit my Store for large, high quality, color corrected prints of my art ^_^!   May I put your fanart of ______ (official anime / video game character) in the fanart section of my anime/video game fansite, shrine, fanlist, etc. Yes, as long as you give me credit for drawing the picture, and have a link to my website (http://kathy100.com/) somewhere nearby the picture. Be sure not to edit the picture in any way (besides resizing / cropping for thumbnails).   Can I crop and resize one of your pictures and use it as my avatar on a message board, AIM, etc. Or use them in a messageboard sig picture / skin, etc.? I normally have no problems with people using my pictures as avatars, as long as a small credit and link to my website, http://kathy100.com , is including in a sig. The one exception to this is for avatar pictures in places where the art is assumed to be yours...such as at DeviantART, GFXartist, etc.~. Please do not use my art for avatars, decorations, etc. on pages such as those. For larger pictures, like in sigs or skins, I don't mind people using my pictures, as long as a "© Kathy100.com" is included on the picture.   Is it okay to use one of your official fanarts or original arts in my website layout? I'm fine with this as long as Your website is not a personal art gallery. The layout art in personal art galleries is generally assumed to be your own~. Credit is given to me for the picture somewhere on the front page (if the art is only used on a certain page, then the credit is okay to be on that page instead). A link to my site (http://kathy100/) is place nearby the credit in a visible place. (Please see the last question, too, if you wish to make and redistribute layouts.)   Could I put one or two of your official fanarts or original pictures on my website under a "Guest Art" section? Sure, as long as you credit me for the picture, and include a link to my website (http://www.kathy100.com/) nearby the picture!   Would it be okay to make some banners / buttons for my website from your official fanart or original pictures? Well, this one's a little more complicated. If you have used my art somewhere on your site and have my website link next to it (ie, in a fanart section, or as a website layout, as mentioned above)...then I don't mind you using that picture to make a banner / button or two. The one exception is if your website is an art site. Because it's generally assumed that, in an art site, the art used on your banner / buttons is your own -_^.   May I use your pictures to make avatars / webpage layouts / wallpapers / buttons / banners / etc. and then redistribute them? As in, make those available on my (or any other) website for other people to use? You may NOT sell or in any way make a profit from my art / edits of my art. However, if you wish to make these and freely distribute them, you may make: Webpage Layouts Wallpapers Sigs Skins (ie Winamp) from my art as long as they also include my URL in a large, easily visible place. For a Layout, a reasonably large link crediting the art to me is needed on the front / main page. A wallpaper, Sig, or skin would have a "© Kathy100.com" on them. ^_^
